Become a Swim Instructor at Larkey Private Swim Club

Larkey is hiring swim instructors for our 2024 season!

Larkey Swim Instructors work part-time teaching children between the ages of 2-8 the fundamentals of swimming. Instructors work in the water, one-on-one with the children during 25-minute lessons. A positive attitude, high energy, patience with children and a desire to collaborate with other instructors.

Pay: $22-$30 per hour depending on experience

Hours: 2-3 hour shifts with opportunity to do two 2 hour shifts with a 1-hour break in the middle.

• Feels comfortable working with youth ages 2-8 years old
• 2+ years experience in competitive swimming
• A strong desire to be part of a cohesive staff
• Ability to be creative
• Ability to problem solve
• A strong work ethic
• A nurturing, positive, high energy personality
• A desire to continuously learn new things about swimming and continuously work to improve
